Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald suffered a concussion while attempting to recover an onside kick late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's win against the Titans. His father, Larry Sr., tweeted Monday that his son "passed concussion tests and feels good." However, head coach Bruce Arians said later in the day that Fitzgerald still has a number of tests to pass before he can be cleared for Sunday's game at Seattle.
In other Cardinals injury news, Arians said quarterback Carson Palmer suffered a low-ankle sprain, and running back Andre Ellington came away with a thigh bruise during Sunday's game. But Arians added that both players will be fine.
I didn't like Fitzgerald chances to succeed against Richard Sherman and Co. anyway; this certainly doesn't help. We should have an update on Fitzgerald once the Cardinals begin practicing Wednesday.
You should expect Palmer and Ellington to at least be limited during the week, but unless something drastic happens -- or Arians is lying to us -- fantasy owners should be able to deploy them per usual in Week 16.
