The Raiders are turning back to quarterback Terrelle Pryor to close the 2013 season. Head coach Dennis Allen announced Monday that Pryor will start the finale Sunday versus the Broncos. Pryor replaces Matt McGloin, who has thrown eight interceptions and five touchdowns in his last five starts. Pryor has a 5:11 touchdown-to-interception ratio in 10 games, but he has also run for more than 500 yards.
Even without Von Miller, the Broncos' defense should be able to force Pryor into a series of mistakes. I don't understand why Allen is going back to Pryor at the end here unless McGloin is hurt. Running back Rashad Jennings is the only Raider I would consider for fantasy purposes in Week 17. The Broncos need to win this game to lock up home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
