Chargers list RB Ryan Mathews as probable for week 17

Ryan Mathews @rmathews24 didn't participate in practice on Wednesday or Thursday due to an anke injury, but returned on a limited basis on Friday and is considered probable for the division matchup with the Chiefs this weekend.

Fantasy Analysis:

What was the preseason over/under on Ryan Mathews games played for 2013? Right around 12? What kind of odds would you have gotten if you told your friends that he would start all 16 games? 5 to 1? 10 to 1?

If only you could go back and make those bets, because with his upgrade to probable, Mathews will likely suit up for his 16th game of the season on Sunday.

The Chargers need this win to have a chance at the postseason, so expect Mathews to be a big part of the offense. Although KC isn't typically a great matchup, they will rest many defensive starters, paving the way for a great Mathews performance. He is healthy, the game is meaningful, and the matchup is favorable. Make sure he is in your lineup for your championship.
