In news that has less fantasy value than real-life value, the Packers have activated wide receiver Randall Cobb from injured reserve after he missed 10 weeks due to a broken leg. It means Cobb is expected to play in Sunday's de facto NFC North title game against the Bears. In five games before the injury, Cobb caught 29 passes for 378 yards and two touchdowns. He also had four rushes for 78 yards.
While I consider the also-returning Aaron Rodgers to be a top-six fantasy QB for Week 17, I would completely avoid Cobb in his first game since Week 6. Besides the inevitable rust, he and Jarrett Boykin will likely split snaps out of the slot.
