Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Thursday that he "absolutely" expects wide receiver Percy Harvin to be active Saturday versus the New Orleans Saints. Harvin wrapped up three consecutive days of unlimited practice participation on Thursday and appears ready to play in just his second game this season.
Again, the risk of putting Harvin on your fantasy playoff roster this weekend is we just don't know how many snaps he will see. Carroll's optimism gives you the sense that he will be a significant part of the game plan, but Carroll is always optimistic, and the Seahawks would be smart to follow the same plan of action they had when Harvin made his team debut in Week 11: Ease him back in to the fold. Plus, Seattle doesn't like to throw a ton as it is. Harvin and the Seahawks are nearing the end of year one of a six-year partnership.
