Patriots RB LeGarrette Blount played just 26 snaps Saturday

LeGarrette Blount @LG_Blount tied a Patriots franchise postseason record with 166 rushing yards Saturday against the Colts. He scored four times, including on a 73-yard dash that was the highlight of the game. And Blount pretty much knew he was going to get the ball when he was on the field.
Blount carried the ball 24 times despite playing just 26 of the Patriots' 73 offensive snaps. Running back Shane Vereen @ShaneVereen34 was second with 24 snaps, and Stevan Ridley @StevanRidley completed the three-man backfield by playing 23 snaps.

Fantasy Analysis:

Blount has been a monster since late December, scoring eight times in his last three games. However, it should be noted that didn't play more than 33 snaps than any of those games. Still, he's getting a ton of work, is the clear leader of New England's run-first offense -- Ridley got 14 carries -- and is converting with regularity around the goal line. The snaps aren't a concern as long as the carries are there. However, Blount could become a forgotten man against the Broncos if Denver gets out front early and forces the Patriots to do something else than grind it out with Blount.
