Raiders hope to re-sign RB Rashad Jennings, will let RB Darren McFadden test market

The Raiders' top two running backs will be free agents this spring, but it's clear which one general manager Reggie McKenzie wants to remain in silver and black. McKenzie said Thursday that he wants to re-sign Rashad Jennings @RashadJennings and added that he expects Darren McFadden @dmcfadden20 to test the open market.

Fantasy Analysis:

In other words, the Raiders will make signing Jennings a priority, and McFadden is all but gone. Jennings is older and not as physically talented as McFadden, a former first-round pick, but Jennings was one of the most productive RBs in the game through the second half of the season. He averaged 116.5 yards from scrimmage in six games from Weeks 9-15 along with six total touchdowns. Meanwhile, McFadden had another down year with even more injuries. It just seems impossible that he will stay healthy for a full schedule.
Although Jennings' age, and lack of pedigree and consistent success will make him affordable, there isn't a lot of wear on his 29-year-old legs. He could be a big-time steal next season with more value in PPR leagues.

I say keep (DMC),for a veteran back up and bring in another running back..save the money .we need to keep (Mcgloin), he needs to pratice, along with a good quarter back coach.and a we need to get him one or two wide receiver.
