Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno (chest) should be ready for Super Bowl

After leaving the AFC Championship game against the New England Patriots with a chest injury, it appears the Broncos and their starting running back, Knowshon Moreno @knowshonmoreno have dodged a bullet. It appears that the injury that forced him to miss the last few plays of the game is likely just a bruise and he should be good to go in two weeks when Denver's number one offense faces Seattle's number one defense in Super Bowl XLVIII.

Fantasy Analysis:

While the impact on the fantasy world may have been minimal, since there's only one game left, some fantasy addicts (like me) have Moreno on their playoff team and wouldn't have been able to replace him. He'll have his work cut out for him, as Seattle has made its living on defense this year. The Legion of Boom allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to running backs this year, and it wasn't close.

Honestly, it's good news for Denver fans, and for football fans in general, that Moreno will be healthy for the Super Bowl. When you have the league's best offense vs. the league's best defense for all the marbles, the last thing you want is for one of the key players to be missing from the fun.
