Cowboys give a $22.5 million contract extension to kicker Dan Bailey

The Cowboys and kicker Dan Bailey @danbailey95 agreed on a six-year contract extension Thursday. The deal will keep Bailey in Dallas through the 2020 season -- it starts in the 2015 season -- and pay him $22.5 million in total salary. He got a $4 million signing bonus, and $7.5 million in the deal is guaranteed.
Since 2011, Bailey owns the league's second-best field-goal-conversion percentage and was 28 for 30 this season.

Fantasy Analysis:

Feel free to laugh at the amount of money being committed to Bailey. It's pretty crazy and totally Dallas. For fantasy purposes, Bailey is a very stellar kicker in a high-powered offense. This contract doesn't alter his fantasy stock; you're still waiting until the final round or two to grab a kicker. Or at least, that's what you should be doing.
