Report: Eagles, WR Riley Cooper agree to a 5-year, $25 million deal

Yesterday, it was reported that the Eagles and wide receiver Riley Cooper @RileyCooper_14 will make a four-year contract official on Thursday. That report apparently came up a year short. ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted this morning that Cooper's new contract is for five years and $25 million with $10 million guaranteed.
Schefter adds via sources that wide receiver Jeremy Maclin @jmac_18 and the team are also talking about a deal but are "not close" right now.

Fantasy Analysis:

I still contend that if the Eagles re-sign Maclin to only a one-year deal, he will still be more productive than Cooper despite the latter having the richer contract. Cooper made the best of his opportunity this season, but Maclin is the better player when healthy. I think the Eagles will end up somewhat regretting this contract in the near future.
