The Seahawks have signed kicker Steven Hauschka to a three-year deal worth $9.15 million, including $3.35 million guaranteed. Hauschka's conversion percentage has increased in each of the past two years, and he was outstanding in 2013. He connected on 33 of 35 field-goal attempts and was 14 for 15 on attempts of 40 yards or longer.
All in all, Hauschka ended last season with 158 fantasy points, good for the No. 4 spot, and one point behind Baltimore's Justin Tucker. I still wouldn't take a kicker before the final two rounds of a draft, but once you get there, Hauschka should be one of the first guys off the board. He is in a perfect setting with a Seahawks offense that can move the ball but often stalls in opponent's territory. From there, Hauschka has been money the past couple of years. Now he's is getting paid for being so money.
