Browns add another veteran WR in Miles Austin

OK, Earl Bennett. Your time in the spotlight is over. The Browns have another wide-receiver acquisition to announce. The team signed former Cowboys wideout Miles Austin on Thursday. He was released by Dallas in March.

Fantasy Analysis:

The Cowboys left the door open for Austin to return, but the Browns scooped him up first as they continue their effort to cover themselves following a couple of injuries at the position and in the event of a long suspension for Josh Gordon @JOSH_GORDONXII.
I will say that I'd rather own Austin than Bennett if forced to choose. But that's a very, very low bar. Austin has stronger odds of staying on the final roster, but he turns 30 next month and a couple of recent seasons have been practically wasted by hamstring injuries. As Austin has shown, that type of injury has a high rate of reoccurrence and is just one in a handful of reasons I'd prefer to stay away from him. The likely presence of a rookie quarterback in a run-heavy offense doesn't help Austin's chances of having a rebound season.
