Ravens rookie running back Lorenzo Taliaferro was arrested on early Saturday morning in Virginia and charged with public drunkenness and destruction of property. Taliaferro was seen by police with a group of people arguing with a cab driver. The cab driver told police that during the dispute, Taliaferro gripped and broke the dividing window in the cab. Police then said Taliaferro then left the scene and was located about a block away, at which time he was arrested and charged with the two misdemeanors.
Not the best early impression from a player who has a good shot at seeing significant playing time this season while Ray Rice is serving his likely suspension. Bernard Pierce has a comfortable hold on the team's No. 2 RB spot and should start for as long as Rice is banished.
