I don't even know where to begin.
Here's Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times via Twitter: "(Head coach Dennis) Allen reiterated that Matt Schaub was brought in to be the #Raiders starting quarterback this season. He called Schaub a top-10 quarterback."
Schaub was the starting quarterback for majority of the season for the worst team in football last year. And he was a major reason why the Texans were so bad. Schaub committed 15 turnovers and threw just 10 touchdowns in games. But hey, that second number rises to 14 if you include the touchdowns the defense scored directly off of one of Schaub's picks. He turns 33 years old next month and is starting over on another bad team with a 30-year-old No. 1 wideout who has never been put in that role before.
I can't imagine Schaub will be any worse than he was, but that doesn't mean he'll be any good. He certainly won't be a top-10 quarterback. He's a QB3 in fantasy.
By the way, Schaub threw a pick-six to defensive end Justin Tuck during Tuesday's practice.
