RB Toby Gerhart wants to be the Jaguars' 'Beast Mode'

Can Toby Gerhart be the next Marshawn Lynch? Perhaps that's asking for a bit much, but the Jaguars, who are coached by former Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley, want their new back to fill a similar role. Gerhart is excited to do just that.
"Gus comes from the Seattle Seahawks' model of playing good defense, relying on the run game where Marshawn Lynch was their 'Beast Mode' out there," Gerhart told USA Today on Wednesday. "Hopefully, I'll be the 'Beast Mode' down here for the Jaguars. I want to be a guy who helps turn this program around with a physical, punishing offense."

Fantasy Analysis:

The Jags have not been shy in stating that they are putting all of eggs into Gerhart's basket. General manager Dave Caldwell said in this article that Gerhart will "get the bulk of the carries ...." I don't think Gerhart will transform into one of the league's top RBs, but he'll be steady. And if the Jags are going to give him 270-300 carries with at least 20-30 receptions, steadiness is going to lead to some rock-solid RB2 numbers.
