Head coach Mike Tomlin confirmed rookie running back Dri Archer will be used at both wide reciever and running back in the offensive scheme. He will also be featured as a punt return/kick return specialist. Sporting 2014's fastest Combine speed at 4.26 but having a small body frame, he will be utilized similar to Dexter McCluster when he played in Kansas City.
Archer has the speed but doesn't have the size to be a serious NFL running back. Even if starter Le"veon Bell was to go down to injury, LeGarrette Blount would be the immediate backup. As far as playing wide out, he would be behind Antonio Brown, Markus Wheaton, Lance Moore and Martavis Bryant. He should be off the radar in redraft leagues and only considered a deep bench stash in dynasty formats.
