New opportunities have arisen from Ray Rice's likely suspension. Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun is predicting Benard Pierce will be the starter this season while backup Justin Forsett will see third-down duties. Forsett will be given a chance in part because of his familiarity with offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak's offensive scheme from their days together with the Texans. He also foresees rookie Lorenzo Taliaferro being in the mix to balance the running attack.
Forsett doesn't have much value this year in fantasy even as a flex. He's signed to a 1 year deal and is unlikely to see much playing time once Rice comes back from his 4-6 game suspension. If he does show well, he'll have an outside chance of moving to a better situation after the season.
