Jacksonville Jaguars rookie WR Marqise Lee said ""I'm pretty much cleared." when he spoke about a lingering ankle injury he has been battling. The mild ankle sprain has kept him out of some OTA practices but he said "I should be OK" when speaking of the Jaguars starting training camp this Sunday. Lee was selected 39th overall in the 2014 draft and will battle with fellow rookie Allen Robinson for WR2 duties opposite Cecil Shorts. If the Jaguars get any decent play at QB this year, they have the WR core to do damage to defenses.
Lee struggled to stay healthy in college as well. It's also worth noting that fellow WRs Robinson, Shorts, Ace Sanders, Tandon Doss, and Mike Brown all have missed some offseason workouts due to various injuries. Lee is the most talented of the bunch but Allen isn't far behind. Whoever starts opposite Shorts will have the ability to be a WR4 option with WR3 upside as the Jags usually pass a ton in garbage time when they are far behind in games.
