Colts WR Reggie Wayne cleared for camp

Colts WR Reggie Wayne cleared for camp

Wayne has passed a physical and been cleared for camp, according to Colts reporter Kevin Bowen. Wayne has been recovering from a torn ACL suffered against the Broncos last year. The 35-year old WR will rejoin a Colts passing attack that includes WR T.Y. Hilton @TYHilton13 and newly acquired WR Hakeem Nicks. Before his injury last year, Wayne caught 38 balls for 503 yards and three touchdowns in just seven games.

Fantasy Analysis:

While this news was expected, it's good to have it confirmed that Wayne is 100% and ready for camp. Strange as it is to say, Wayne has tremendous sleeper potential this year. Torn knee ligaments are no longer the career-ending injury they used to be, and even though he's aging, Wayne appeared to have quite a bit left in the tank last season. At his current draft position of 42nd WR, Wayne would be a solid addition to most teams.
