UPDATE: Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts to miss 'several weeks' with hamstring strain

Update: The Jaguars have given a more specific timetable for Shorts. He is expected to miss 2-4 weeks.

Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts @CecilShortsIII will be out for "several weeks" with a hamstring strain, head coach Gus Bradley announced Saturday. Shorts couldn't finish Friday's practice due to what was initially labeled as hamstring tightness, but it was obviously more than that.
The timing is awful for Shorts. Besides missing valuable time in training camp, the team had recently expressed desire to give a long-term deal to Shorts, who is entering the final season of his rookie contract.

Fantasy Analysis:

It's just the latest setback in a growing line of maladies for Shorts. He missed most of the Jaguars' offseason program due to a hamstring injury. He missed the last three games of 2013 after sports-hernia surgery and was generally dinged up throughout the season. He's also missed games due to a concussion and a seperate hamstring injury during his three short years in the league.
If Shorts isn't healthy for the start of the season, that will put more responsibility on the shoulders of rookies Marqise Lee @TeamLee1 and Allen Robinson. Both are lottery tickets in re-draft leagues.
