Jets TE Zach Sudfeld impresses at training camp

Sudfeld has been the best TE at Jets training camp thus far, according to ESPN's Rich Cimini. Sudfeld is seekeing to unseat Jets TE Jeff Cumberland @Cumberland85, who reported late to camp and has not stood out among the rest of the tight ends. Sudfeld moved from the Patriots to the Jets roster after just three games last season, and ultimately recorded just five catches for 63 yards on the year.

Fantasy Analysis:

Some of you are probably having unwelcome flashbacks to the 2013 preseason right now. Last year, certain fantasy personalities hyped Sudfeld tremendously through training camp and into fantasy draft season. Sudfeld was way over-drafted and ended up disappointing massively. So it's understandable if the news that Sudfeld is again having a great camp falls on deaf ears. Sudfeld has a lot of potential with his 6'7" frame, but until he's at least named the Jets starter, you shouldn't repeat last year's mistakes by drafting him.
