Colts WR T.Y. Hilton leaves practice with finger injury

Hilton left practice with a finger injury, and was later seen on the sidelines with ice and a hand wrap, according to Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star. Hilton led Colts receivers last year with 82 catches on 138 targets for 1,083 yards. Hilton became Colts QB Andrew Luck's leading target after Colts WR Reggie Wayne @Reggie_Wayne87 was lost for the season to a knee injury.

Fantasy Analysis:

Hopefully the this problem is a mild one. Hand injuries are particularly troublesome for wide receivers. If he's at full strength, Hilton stands to improve over his 2013 statistics ths year as Wayne returns to the lineup. With his elite speed, the 5-foot-9, 178-pound Hilton developed into an elite deep threat last season. WIth Wayne back in the lineup distracting defenses, Hilton could see even more opportunity in 2014. He's currently being taken as the 22nd receiver in fantasy drafts.
