Odell Beckham did not travel with the Giants to Canton for Sunday's Hall of Fame Game, according to the New York Daily News' Ebenezer Samuel. The rookie wideout missed every practice this week with a hamstring injury. Beckham, drafted 12th overall in this year's draft, is expected to slot in as the Giants' second or third wide receiver along with Victor Cruz and Rueben Randle .
Those hoping to get a read on Beckham's NFL readiness will have to wait at least another week, as he will not be making an appearance on the field tomorrow night. The 5-foot-11 former LSU standout should see plenty of playing time once he's able to make it on the field. While the hamstring injury was also an issue in OTAs, it's possible that the Giants are simply being careful with their prized first-rounder. Expectations for his first year should be tempered, but Beckham is an extremely talented prospect who should be on every dynasty owner's radar.
