Redskins beat writer Rich Tandler has heaped praise onto RB Alfred Morris saying he has looked 'very sharp' throughout training camp and that he's "mastered the one-cut style of running". Tandler goes on to say that "it would not shock me if he has a better year than he did in 2012." This of course is a very bold prediction as Morris was a rookie who had over 300 carries, rushing for 1406 yards and putting up 10 TDs.
The funny thing is, it could very well happen given the Redskins offensive unit. The addition of Desean Jackson in the offseason who is playing opposite Pierre Garcon, along with a healthy RG3 could give Morris a lot of room to run wild in a big box. If Morris could put up 1200+ rushing yards with 7 TDs in 2013, there is no reason to think he couldn't improve on those numbers at the very least. I consider him a RB2 with lots of RB1 potential.
