Cecil Shorts pulled his hamstring at the start of training camp and has been sidelined ever since. He missed the Jaguars' first two preseason games and valuable practice time with the first-team offense. Shorts will be returning to practice on Sunday, as reported by John Oehser. Last season, Shorts was a victim to the injury bug. Nearly every game he was affected by his groin, shoulder or hamstring. He tallied 777 yards and three touchdowns in 2013 despite being hampered by injuries.
Shorts' has been dubbed the title of 'garbage-time king' for his heroics in making most of his catches when the Jaguars are playing from behind. Based on how the Jaguars are currently looking and if Shorts can get healthy before the start of the season, he could defend his crown. Shorts' is easily a WR3 if he stays healthy throughout the season.
