The Steelers' top two running backs, Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount , were arrested together Wednesday. According to Colin Dunlap of CBS Pittsburgh, Bell and Blount were pulled over in a black Camaro and charged with marijuana possession. Bell was also charged with driving under the influence.
An unidentified female in the car was also arrested. All three parties were reportedly cooperative with police. Dunlap gives no word as to why the car was initially stopped. Less than an ounce of marijuana was found.
Bell doesn't have a track record of bad off-field behavior. Blount has been able to stay on the straight and narrow for the most part since his infamous moment at the University of Oregon when he punched a Boise State player after a loss and then appeared poised to attack Boise State fans in the stands while being held back.
A suspension is a possibility, more so for Bell because of the two charges, and any DUI is pretty serious. But until something is handed down, if anything, Bell's draft stock should not change much.
