Eagles QB Nick Foles finds stride after tough start

On the first Eagles drive of preseason game No. 3, quarterback Nick Foles threw passes low, short and behind his wide receivers. He looked a bit rusty to say the least. The second drive was much better. Foles started 3-of-3 passing and capped it with a 27-yard swing pass to RB LeSean McCoy @CutonDime25. On the third drive of the first quarter, Foles returned to his previous form and threw a bad interception to Troy Polamalu @tpolamalu. For the night, Foles went 19-of-29 passing for 179 yards with one TD and one interception.

Fantasy Analysis:

He was far from terrible, but Foles needs to do better in the regular season. Many analysts, including myself, think he will likely throw more INTs this year, and tonight might have been the first glimpse of that regression. Foles is FFToolbox's No. 9 QB. He is still a good bet to finish at that position or higher.

what's with the Philly hate, Foley? You jealous? Did you even watch the game? Foles interception occurred because Sproles fell down. Foles utilized his TEs perfectly. Other than that he looked tremendous besides a few throws that were dropped.

I am not a Philly fan (Baltimore fan) - and I thought Foles looked excellent last night. He was sharp, accurate, and on-time. The interception was ONLY because the offensive lineman and Sproles got tangled up. He used both TEs, all WRs, and his backs. His pass to Sproles on wheel route in end zone was a thing of beauty. If you ask Sproles, I bet Sproles says he should have caught it.
