Cowboys RB Ryan Williams included in final cut

Ryan Williams has officially been released from the Dallas Cowboys in the final cutdown of preseason. He was in a battle for third-string duties with RB Joseph Randle @JRAN_1, who Owner/GM Jerry Jones spoke highly of, saying "He's really playing outstanding. That's not an exaggeration." Williams might go to the Cowboys' practice squad, although he may eventually get picked up by another team.

Fantasy Analysis:

It's not surprising. Williams rushed for only 112 total yards and a TD through four preseason games with the Cowboys. Williams didn't play in 2013. In 2012 with the Arizona Cardinals, he averaged only 2.8 yards per carry on 58 rushes. He is safe to drop in dynasty formats and isn't worth a late-round flier in redraft leagues.
