End of a Hall of Fame career? (UPDATE: Not yet) Saints waive CB Champ Bailey

Update: NFL.com's Ian Rapoport asked Bailey's agent, Jack Reale, if Bailey wants to continue playing. He responded, "Definitely, and he is fully healthy now."

NFL players who were suiting up in the 1990s are becoming extinct. We might have seen the end of the career for another one Saturday when the Saints released 15-year cornerback Champ Bailey in favor of undrafted rookie Brian Dixon.
Bailey signed a two-year deal with the Saints in April. He suffered through an injury-riddled 2013 season; he tallied only 12 tackles in five games with the Broncos.

Fantasy Analysis:

From my unofficial count, there are about 6-7 players remaining who played in the 1990s. In related news, I am getting old.
Perhaps another team will give Champ a shot, but 2013 was pretty much a disaster for him, and he has to see the writing on the wall at the age of 36. He's already locked in for a bust in Canton.
