13. Justin Rose [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #11

Rose won at Doral in 2012 and claimed another top-10 a year ago. He was originally scheduled to compete at the Honda, but withdrew citing shoulder tendinitis (an issue he has been dealing with since last August). The move was made to keep Rose from playing four consecutive weeks and appears more preventative than a setback.

14. Jason Day [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #5

Day is coming off a victory in the Match Play Championship and began his 2014 by earning a share of second at Torrey Pines. In between, he missed the second round of cuts at Pebble Beach. Unfortunately, Day may experience another struggle at Doral where he's yet to finish better than 20th in three chances.

15. Phil Mickelson [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #8

Mickelson was a Doral winner back in 2009, but basically a non-factor at the site until last year's T3. However, Lefty is coming off a missed cut at the Honda and has been an inconsistent player since withdrawing from TPC Scottsdale with a back issue.

16. Harris English [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #40

English is a Doral first timer, but has placed solo ninth and T10 in his last two stroke play events. He's currently third on Tour in All-Around Ranking, fourth in birdie average and fifth in scoring average.

17. Jimmy Walker [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #19

Walker has already won three tournaments this season -- one coming in the fall-- while only missing one cut in eight starts. He's never played Doral and his last stroke play finish was a T20 at Riviera.

18. Jason Dufner [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #16

Dufner has been somewhat quiet since his solo fifth showing two months ago in the Hyundai Tournament of Champions. He's got an opportunity to change that at Doral where he placed T12 a year ago. Back in 2012, Dufner opened with a share of the lead, but slid to finish just inside the top 30.

19. Zach Johnson [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #12

Johnson has played Doral each season since this tournament moved to the site starting in 2007. ZJ earned a top-10 those first two years, but has only managed one top-20 in the five starts since. Johnson began the year with three straight top-10s (including a victory and T3), but is coming off a T33 at the Honda.

20. Hunter Mahan [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #34

Mahan finished a career-best solo ninth at Doral back in 2011 and has placed T25 and T24 the last two years. This season he has recorded a pair of finishes inside the top 10, but placed outside of the top 45 in his other two stroke play starts. Based on his recent performance on this track and sketchy play this season, Mahan is in danger of being overvalued this week.

21. Webb Simpson [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #27

Simpson played Doral each of the last two years with some very erratic results. He entered the final round of 2012 inside the top 10, but shot a 5-over 77 to finish T35. Simpson wasn't stellar last season either, but more stable and placed T20.

22. Luke Donald [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #29

Donald recorded a pair of T6 finishes at Doral prior to last year's disappointing T43. In 2013, Donald missed five cuts in 25 starts after missing just three in all of 2011 and 2012 combined. Donald showed some flashes of those glory days last week with a T8 at the Honda.

23. Henrik Stenson [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #3

Last year's FedExCup and Race to Dubai champ has already missed two cuts in four stroke play events this season and has yet to record a top-25. Stenson is playing Doral for the first time since 2010.

24. Graham Delaet [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #30

DeLaet earned a share of second at Torrey Pines and TPC Scottsdale, but only manged a T40 at Riviera. Despite the sudden cooling down, DeLaet shouldn't be forgotten in his Doral debut.
