Golf Rankings for RBC Heritage
Matthew Every - World Ranking: #44
After winning at Bay Hill (his third finish of eighth or better in four starts), Every missed the cut in his debut at the Masters. Every placed T8 at Harbour Town in 2012, but was a MDF last year.
Russell Henley [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #54
Henley has been an erratic performer this season. He has missed five cuts. but won the Honda Classic and recently scored a top-10 at the Shell Houston Open. Russell notched a T6 in last year’s Harbour Town debut.
Charl Schwartzel [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #30
Schwartzel has played in five stroke play events this season. In between missed cuts at the Honda Classic and the Masters, he placed T9 at Doral and T19 in the Shell Houston Open. The erratic finishes make Schwartzel difficult to trust starting as a first timer at Harbour Town.
Zach Johnson [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #21
Johnson was among several notable players to miss the cut at Augusta, underlining the slide ZJ has been in since a red hot January. He was runner-up at Harbour Town in 2012, but doesn’t own another top-35 finish in five other appearances since 2008, including two missed cuts.
Chris Stroud [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #132
Stroud missed all three cuts in his limited Harbour Town experiences prior to last year’s T6. He has made five consecutive cuts this season, with four results inside the top 20.
Pat Perez [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #192
Perez has played Harbour Town two of the last three years, finishing T18 last year and a career-best T6 back in 2011. After a stretch of three tournaments without a top-40, Perez recently got back on track with a T11 at the Valero Texas Open.
Kevin Stadler [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #78
Stadler is coming off a rather surprising T8 in last week’s Masters debut. He had a forgettable T42 last year at Harbour Town, but owns a T4 from 2012.
Kevin Streelman [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #65
It has been a rather lackluster season for Streelman, despite just one missed cut. He has made three straight cuts at Harbour Town, finishing T3, T17 and T36.
Patrick Reed [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #15
Reed is a tough call this week. He missed the cut in his Harbour Town debut last year and has missed two cuts since winning at Doral, his second victory of 2014.
Stephen Gallacher [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #31
Gallacher has one win on the European Tour this season and another top-10 in four starts. Since coming stateside, he has recorded a T6 at Doral and would have challenged for a top-10 at Augusta if not for a disastrous third round. He’s playing Harbour Town for the first time.
Rory Sabbatini [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #163
Sabbatini is another player to mull over this week based on track history rather than recent play. In four starts at Harbour Town since 2009 he's yet to finish outside of the top 20 and owns a pair of top-10s, including last year’s T9.
Billy Horschel [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #17
It has been a slow start for Horschel this season, but he placed inside the top 10 in last year’s Harbour Town debut.
