Dustin Johnson [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #13
Johnson won at TPC Southwind in his 2012 debut and placed T10 last year. DJ played the last four tournaments in May, making each cut with a pair of top-15 finishes.
Phil Mickelson [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #8
Mickelson earned a share of second last year at TPC Southwind, his first start at the site since 2009. Lefty began May with a T11 at Quail Hollow, but missed the cut in THE PLAYERS and is coming off a T49 last week at the Memorial.
Lee Westwood [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #36
Westwood is playing TPC Southwind for the first time since winning back in 2010 and placing T11 the following year. Over his last six worldwide appearances, Westwood has only missed one cut, while scoring a victory on the Asian Tour (in addition to a solo seventh at Augusta and a T6 at THE PLAYERS).
Ryan Palmer [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #58
Over the last two seasons at TPC Southwind, Palmer has overcome poor first rounds to place solo fourth last year and T3 in 2012. His most recent start came at Colonial and resulted in a T5, Palmer’s fifth top-10 finish in 11 starts this year.
Zach Johnson [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #12
Johnson didn’t play TPC Southwind last year after missing the cut in 2012. He placed a career-high T12 back in 2010 but only managed a T32 the following year. Since missing the cut in the Masters, ZJ has made each of his last four, but placed outside of the top 60 twice.
Graeme McDowell [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #14
Since scoring a pair of top-10 finishes back in March, McDowell has only made three starts. He missed the cut at Augusta, placed T23 at Harbour Town and only managed a T62 at THE PLAYERS. McDowell has only played TPC Southwind once since 2010, missing the cut in 2012.
Harris English [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #40
English won last year’s FedEx St. Jude Classic, his first career start at TPC Southwind. Prior to his T30 at Colonial, English had missed three cuts in four previous starts after a strong start to the season.
John Senden [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #54
Senden has made 10 consecutive cuts this season, placing inside the top 30 in five straight. In his last two appearances, Senden has placed T11 at the Byron Nelson and T5 at Colonial. He hasn’t played TPC Southwind since 2011.
Paul Casey [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #100
Aside from a missed cut at Colonial, Casey has been a solid performer with four finishes of 18th or better. He’s playing TPC Southwind for the first time.
Patrick Reed [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #24
After missing the cut in his first two starts at TPC Southwind starts, Reed placed solo fifth at the site last year. He has won a pair of events this season, but has also missed three of his last four cuts.
Billy Horschel [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #50
Horschel made two starts in May, finishing T26 in THE PLAYERS and T15 last week at the Memorial. After struggling in three previous trips to TPC Southwind, Horschel placed a career-best T10 last year.
Charles Howell III [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #56
Howell has played TPC Southwind each of the last six years, making four consecutive cuts. In his last two starts, CH3 finished a career-best T3 at the Byron Nelson and placed T57 last week at the Memorial.
