Bubba Watson [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #17
Watson has played TPC River Highlands seven times since 2006, winning in 2010. After earning a share of second place in 2012, Bubba entered the final round of last year’s tournament tied for first, but finished solo fourth. Before missing the cut last week at the U.S. Open, Watson won the Masters, struggled at THE PLAYERS and finished solo third at the Memorial.
Matt Kuchar [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #20
Kuchar has only played TPC River Highlands once since 2008, a T8 in 2012. After recording four consecutive top-five finishes from late March through April, Kuchar has placed 17th or better in four of his last five.
Jason Day [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #2
Day is coming off a T4 at the U.S. Open, just his sixth start of the season due to a thumb injury. His lone appearance at TPC River Highlands was back in 2008.
Dustin Johnson [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #1
Johnson is another big name that hasn’t played TPC River Highlands in quite some time. He was decent in 2008 before withdrawing after the first round the following year. DJ is coming off a T4 at the U.S. Open, giving him six consecutive cuts made with four top-25 finishes.
Keegan Bradley [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #110
Bradley is coming off a T4 at the U.S. Open after mediocre performances at the Byron Nelson and the Memorial. He has played TPC River Highlands each of the last three years, improving from a T63 in 2011 to a T29 the next year to last season’s T18.
Ryan Moore [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #36
Over the last eight years at TPC River Highlands, Moore has finished T2 twice, with five finishes inside the top 15 (including last year’s T7). Since May, Moore has finished 26th or better three times in five starts.
Sergio Garcia [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #10
Since placing solo third at THE PLAYERS, Garcia finished T38 and withdrew from a pair of European Tour events prior to a T35 at the U.S. Open. Sergio’s two career starts at TPC River Highlands came in 2002 and 2009.
Charley Hoffman [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #71
Hoffman has played TPC River Highlands each of the last four years and has really shined in the last two. After earning a share of second at the site in 2012, Hoffman was in a three-way tie for first after three rounds, but dropped to finish T7. He’s made nine consecutive cuts this season and is coming off a T19 at the Memorial.
Hunter Mahan [Yahoo Class C]
From 2006-09, Mahan recorded four consecutive finishes inside the top five at TPC River Highlands with a 2007 victory and a pair of T2 finishes. He struggled the next two years, but finished T11 in 2012 and was working on a possible top-five last year before dropping in the final round to finish T24. However, Mahan has missed three of his last six cuts and hasn’t recorded a top-25 since early March.
Graham Delaet [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #129
DeLaet finished solo third at TPC River Highlands last year after heading into Sunday with a share of the lead. In his last six starts, DeLaet has missed cuts in the big tournaments (Masters, PLAYERS, U.S. Open), but earned a T7 at the Byron Nelson and a T14 at Colonial.
Marc Leishman [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #62
Leishman won the 2012 tournament at TPC River Highlands and finished T30 last year after heading into the final round inside the top 15. After missing a pair of cuts, Leishman has made four in a row, highlighted by a T3 at the Byron Nelson.
Fredrik Jacobson [Yahoo Class C]
Jacobson won the 2011 event at TPC River Highlands and finished T8 the following year before last year’s T30. Since finishing T3 at Colonial, Jacobson has only managed a T49 at the Memorial and a T60 TPC Southwind.
