13. Hunter Mahan [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #34

Mahan has missed two straight cuts and four of his last seven this season. He also missed the cut in this tournament last year as well as the 2011 U.S. Open at Congressional. However, Mahan finished T8 in 2012, runner-up in 2009, T12 in 2008 and T8 in 2007.

14. Billy Horschel [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #50

Horschel has finished 26th or better in four straight starts with a pair of top-15s. He got off to a hot start at Congressional last year and was tied for third after the first round, but he was eventually undermined by an ugly third round.

15. Brendon de Jonge [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #74

De Jonge has made seven consecutive cuts with only two results coming outside of the top 30. He missed the cut at Congressional last year, but in 2012 he entered the final round of play with the outright lead only to finish T11 with a 6-over 77.

16. Marc Leishman [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #69

Leishman has made five consecutive cuts with four finishes of 23rd or better. He missed the cut at Congressional last year, blew a top-15 in the final round of the 2012 tournament, and finished T51 in the 2011 U.S. Open.

17. Charley Hoffman [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #83

Over the last two years, Hoffman has finished T22 and T28 at Congressional. He has made 10 cuts in a row this season and placed T45 in the 2011 U.S. Open.

18. Carl Pettersson [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #152

Pettersson has come out of a rough patch to finish T3 at TPC Southwind and T7 at TPC River Highlands in his last two starts. He’s a first timer at Congressional.

19. J.B. Holmes [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #165

After he warmed up in April and won at Quail Hollow, Holmes struggled mightily until placing T17 at the U.S. Open. He was decent in the first two rounds of play at Congressional in 2012, but went 10-over in the third.

20. Nick Watney [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #49

Watney is coming off a T11 at TPC River Highlands, but had missed four of his previous five cuts and had been without a top-20 all year. At Congressional, Watney placed T61 last year, solo 10th in 2012 and missed the cut in the 2011 U.S. Open.

21. Ryan Palmer [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #58

Palmer has been inconsistent this season and is coming off his second missed cut of the year. He owns a T34 at Congressional last year, T15 in 2012, T21 in the 2011 U.S. Open and T22 in 2009.

22. Ben Martin [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #156

Martin missed seven cuts in eight starts earlier in the year, until making each of his last six with four finishes of 21st or better. He’s a first timer at Congressional.

23. Bo Van Pelt [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #106

Van Pelt has made five straight cuts this season, but finished outside of the top 60 in the last two. BVP placed T14 in the 2011 U.S. Open at Congressional, solo second in 2012 edition of this tournament, and then missed last year’s cut.

24. Brendan Steele [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #139

Steele missed a pair of cuts until last week’s T5 at TPC River Highlands. He finished T16 at Congressional a year ago after a T68 in 2012.
