1. Tiger Woods [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #1

In his dozen starts this seasons Woods has three wins and five top-three finishes. Tiger has won at Firestone seven times (most recently in 2009), and has finished inside the top five 10 times in 12 starts. While he’s finished outside of the top 35 the last two years. Woods is playing at a much higher level right now. Tiger sits first in scoring average, fourth in in total driving and 10th in All-Around Ranking.

2. Luke Donald [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #29

Over his last five Tour starts Donald has finished 12th or better on four occasions. After finishing T45 in 2009 and T46 in 2010, he earned a share of second at Firestone a year ago. Donald ranks fourth in strokes gained – putting and 12th in scoring average.

3. Adam Scott [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #2

A reduced schedule has worked wonders for Scott this season. He is the defending champion of this event and is coming off an epic choke that left him as a runner-up in The Open Championship following a solo third at Congressional. If Scott is over his meltdown, a strong title defense is very possible.

4. Lee Westwood [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #36

In 16 worldwide starts this year Westwood has collected two wins, seven top-fives and 10 finishes inside the top 20. At Firestone he owns three top-10s over the last four years. Westwood ranks second in greens in regulation percentage, 10th in scoring average, 12th in birdie average, 13th in total driving and second in All-Around Ranking.

5. Zach Johnson [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #12

Over his last nine starts Johnson has two wins to go along with two runner-up performances. ZJ has also been solid at Firestone with five finishes of 16th or better in eight career starts at the site. Johnson is currently first in strokes gained – putting, fifth in birdie average, seventh in scoring average and sixth in All-Around Ranking.

6. Matt Kuchar [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #6

With 23 consecutive cuts made, Kuchar owns the longest active streak on Tour. He’s also second in scoring average and ninth in All-Around Ranking. Kuchar finished T19 at Firestone last year after a T9 in 2010.

7. Steve Stricker [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #15

Stricker has finished inside the top 25 over his last four starts of the season with one top-five. At Firestone he’s registered two top-10s with three straight top-15s. Stricker ranks 18th in birdie average, 21st in scoring average and 14th in All-Around Ranking.

8. Hunter Mahan [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #34

Prior to last year’s T37, Mahan had put together three straight top-10s at Firestone with a pair of top-fives highlighted by a victory in 2010. He’s only missed one cut all season, but is coming off a disappointing T48 in last week’s RBC Canadian Open while facing a depleted field. Mahan ranks first in ball striking, third in total driving and 17th in scoring average.

9. Rory McIlroy [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #10

Once a player that was a safe bet for a top-five finish each time he made a start, McIlroy has quickly gone cold. Over his last seven worldwide starts McIlroy has missed four cuts and is coming off a T60 in The Open Championship. McIlroy finished a career-best T6 at Firestone last year after a T9 in 2010.

10. Jason Dufner [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #16

Dufner is a first timer at Firestone, but is in the midst of a career year. He’s won two events over his last six starts with two more top-five finishes. Dufner is currently third in birdie average, fourth in scoring average, sixth in greens in regulation percentage, ninth in total driving and third in All-Around Ranking.

11. Rickie Fowler [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #35

Last year Fowler finished with a share of second at Firestone, just his second career start at the site. While Fowler failed to impress in the two recent majors, he scored a win at Quail Hollow, a T2 in THE PLAYERS and a T5 at Colonial during the month of May. Fowler is 11th in total driving and 15th in All-Around Ranking.

12. Bubba Watson [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #4

Watson has finished T21 and T22 the last two years at Firestone. After winning the Masters (which capped three straight top-fives), Watson has only managed one top-15 over his last five starts with two missed cuts. He ranks first in driving distance, first in greens in regulation percentage, second in birdie average, 11th in scoring average and seventh in All-Around ranking.
