Golf Rankings for Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard
Hunter Mahan [Yahoo Class C]
Over his last six events, Mahan owns five top-25 finishes and was the runner-up in match play. He's made five straight cuts at Bay Hill, but has finished outside the top 20 in each of the last four.
Lee Westwood [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #57
Westwood hasn't played Bay Hill since finishing T17 back in 2008. He's made the cut in all four of his Tour starts this season, including one top-10 and three top-25s. While Westwood hasn't been playing as well when compared to previous years, he deserves to be on the radar.
Charles Howell III [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #70
Howell started the year off with three straight top-10s, sparked by a pair of top-fives, and is coming off a T12 at Doral. He's made four straight cuts at Bay Hill, finishing 22nd or better on three occasions.
Jimmy Walker [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #36
Walker has made all seven of his cuts this season, recording a pair of top-fives and just one finish outside of the top 30. Last year, he finished T24 at Bay Hill.
Rickie Fowler [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #9
After beginning the year with a pair of T6 finishes, Fowler has been uneven. He missed the cut in the Phoenix Open, finished T13 at the Honda and is coming off a T35 at Doral. Fowler did not play Bay Hill last year and finished T30 in 2011.
Peter Hanson [Yahoo Class C]
In his last two starts this season, Hanson finished T13 in the Honda and T8 at Doral. He's only played Bay Hill once, a missed cut in 2011. However, Hanson looks good enough to consider despite the limited experience on this track.
Nick Watney [Yahoo Class C]
In his last four stroke play events, Watney has yet to record a top-40 finish and also missed one cut. He hasn't done much at Bay Hill lately either, finishing T59 last year and T64 in 2010.
Bill Haas [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #39
Prior to finishing T43 at Doral, Haas has recorded three straight finishes inside the top 10 in stroke play events. Haas has played Bay Hill each of the last five years, but has missed two cuts while managing just one top-20 finish.
Jason Day [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #4
After starting the season with a pair of top-10s and a strong showing in match play, Day has finished outside of the top 30 each of the last two weeks. His last start at Bay Hill was a T25 in 2010.
Ernie Els [Yahoo Class C]
In addition to a T4 performance in this event last year, Els won at Bay Hill in 2010. Most recently, Els finished T28 at Doral.
Bo Van Pelt [Yahoo Class C]
Unfortunately, Van Pelt hasn't looked like the same consistent player from the last several years. He's made four starts in stroke play events this year but still in search of his first top-15 result.
Robert Garrigus [Yahoo Class B]
Garrigus is coming off his worst performance of the season, a T56 last week at Copperhead. However, he's made all six of his cuts in 2013 and has now made 17 consecutive cuts dating back to last year, tied for the second-longest active streak on Tour.
