Jim Furyk [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #27
Furyk has never played TPC San Antonio and is coming off his worst performance of the year, a T65 at Bay Hill. He’s yet to miss a cut, however, and finished 35th or better in his four other stroke play events.
Padraig Harrington [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #152
Harrington opened his stateside schedule with a T9 at TPC Scottsdale, but struggled with two straight missed cuts and a T39 at Doral. Harrington will be playing TPC San Antonio for the first time and is coming off a T6 in the Malaysian Open.
Peter Hanson [Yahoo Class C]
In his last two starts, Hanson has finished T13 in the Honda and a T8 at Doral. Hanson has never played TPC San Antonio, but is on a roll and worth a look due to his limited Tour schedule.
Chris Kirk [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #53 - Not Entered
Kirk has made six consecutive cuts, recording a total of two top-fives and five top-25 finishes, including a T22 last week at Redstone. He’s only played TPC San Antonio once, a T48 in 2011.
Charlie Wi [Yahoo Class C]
Wi had made seven straight cuts this season until failing to play the weekend at Bay Hill. He’s played TPC San Antonio two of the last three years, finishing T4 last year and a T17 from 2010.
Billy Horschel [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #47
Horschel has made all nine of his cuts this season and finished T2 in his most recent outing last week at Redstone. He’s made the cut at TPC San Antonio each of the last two years, but finished outside of the top 70 each time.
Bob Estes [Yahoo Class C]
Estes has been pretty solid this season with four top-30s and only one missed cut in seven starts. He struggled in his first two trips to TPC San Antonio, but finished T4 last year.
John Huh [Yahoo Class C]
After putting together an impressive rookie campaign, highlighted by a victory in the Mayakoba Golf Classic, Huh has been in a slump this season. Huh has missed five of his last seven cuts with a pair of top-30s. Last year he finished with a share of second in his TPC San Antonio debut.
Bryce Molder [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #116
Prior to missing the cut last week at Redstone, Molder had recorded five straight top-30 finishes. His lone appearance at TPC San Antonio was a T36 in 2011.
Ryan Palmer [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #75
Over the last three years at TPC San Antonio, Palmer finished T32 last year, missed the cut in 2011 and landed a T9 in 2010. Palmer has been a mixed bag this year with a T6 and a solo fifth from January, but has missed three of the five cuts since.
D.A. Points [Yahoo Class C]
Points hasn't played this event since it moved to TPC San Antonio. He’s coming off a victory at Redstone, but had missed seven of his eight previous cuts.
Kevin Chappell [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #34
Chappell ended a streak of five missed cuts this season with a T6 at Redstone. He’ll head back to TPC San Antonio where he earned a share of second in 2011, but had to withdraw last year.
