Jason Day [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #8
Day has made 19 straight cuts with seven finishes of 32nd or better over his last eight starts. He's recorded three straight top-30s at Firestone. Day is good for 13th in scoring average and 24th in All-Around Ranking.
Bubba Watson [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #4
Watson has finished 22nd or better in all three career starts at Firestone. He returns to the site with six finishes of 32nd or better this season. Bubba is now sixth in birdie average and 27th in scoring average.
Keegan Bradley [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #31
Bradley won last year at Firestone following a T15 in his 2011 debut. He's coming off a T15 in The Open Championship. Despite some erratic results, Bradley ranks fourth in total driving and seventh in All-Around Ranking.
Luke Donald [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #34
Since finishing T8 in the U.S. Open, Donald finished T42 in the French Open and has missed each of his last two cuts. At Firestone he finished T2 in 2011 and T8 a year ago.
Sergio Garcia [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #6
Garcia has played Firestone the last 11 years with eight top-30s. Dating back to last year, he has made 14 straight cuts while on Tour. Garcia has started in 15 worldwide events this season with 13 results inside the top 25.
Graeme McDowell [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #19
McDowell is playing Firestone for the sixth straight year and looking for his third top-25. He’s won three worldwide events this year, but has also missed twice as many cuts.
Ernie Els [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #60
Els won the BMW International Open only to miss the cut a few weeks later at the Scottish Open. Over the last two events, he’s finished a respectable T26 in the British Open and T21 in last week’s RBC Canadian Open. Els has played Firestone each of the last seven years without a top 20.
Ian Poulter [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #27
Poulter is coming off a season-high T3 in the British Open and has made five consecutive cuts worldwide. Since solid T15 and T16 finishes at Firestone in 2008 and 2009, he’s fallen outside of the top 60 twice.
Angel Cabrera [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #80
Since missing the cut in the U.S. Open, Cabrera has finished T9 at Cromwell, T13 at Congressional and T11 at the British Open. He hasn't played Firestone since 2010, but owns three top-fives in nine career starts (most recently in 2009).
Jim Furyk [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #7
After a run of eight tournaments without a top 20, Furyk regrouped with a T9 in last week’s RBC Canadian Open. Last year he finished a career-best T2 at Firestone.
Jason Dufner [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #36
Last year saw Dufner play Firestone for the first time and record a solo seventh result. He hasn't looked as sharp this season, but did recently score a top-five in the U.S. Open. Dufner is 31st in scoring average and 34th in total driving.
Rickie Fowler [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #10
Fowler recently missed the cut for the first time in six tournaments at the British Open. He placed T2 at Firestone in 2011, but only managed a T60 last year.
