By now you've heard all the craze about DraftKings right? Daily Fantasy Sports is exploding and we had a blast with Football this year here at Toolbox, but did you know that you can now enjoy rooting for your favorite golfers like never before? The gatherings at the water cooler has never been more fun! It's time for me (and you) to take the plunge into Daily Fantasy Golf! Let's do it together this year.

The concept is simple. Each golfer is assigned a Salary and you have to pick a 6 man squad under a salary cap. The slick website does all the math for you so if you pick a team that is over the cap, it will alert you so you can remove the player and add in a cheaper option.
We're all getting AMPED about the big SPRING GOLF CLASSIC promotion that will be running during the Masters. See below for contest options.

Let's get right to it, my TOP VALUES, STEALS and OVERPRICED golfers are below.

Values

Keegan Bradley $8,900

Justin Rose was my first pick here but shoulder tendinitis caused him to withdraw on Tuesday. I'll tap Bradley in his place. Bradley finished a career-best T4 in last year's Honda, following a T12 in 2012. Top-20 finishes in three of his four stroke play events of 2014. Should get his first top-15, if not better, this week.

Graeme McDowell $8,900

Coming off a T7 at Pebble Beach and a quarterfinal run in last week's Match Play Championship. Last three years at the Honda Classic: T9, T9, T6. Blew another top-10 in 2010 by shooting a 6-over 76 in the final round. Tied for 12th in salary for this week's action.

Steals

Michael Thompson $6,700

The defending Honda Classic champ is outside of the top-70 in salary. He's finished T19 in his last two starts of the year: TPC Scottsdale, Pebble Beach

Fredrik Jacobson $6,500

A bit of an concern because he's missed two cuts since withdrawing from Torrey Pines with an undisclosed injury. Last six years at the Honda Classic: T25, T16, T29, T6, T5. Worth the risk 88th in salary.

Overpriced

Phil Mickelson $9,800

Uneven play since back injury caused him to exit Torrey Pines. Non-factor in TPC Scottsdale, strong first round at Pebble Beach but lackluster in the final three rounds. Take Adam Scott for $1,000 less.

Robert Garrigus $8,400

Going 16th in salary is a head scratcher. Three top-30s in his last four starts, zero top-15s. T30 in '12 Honda Classic, didn't play the event last year.

My Team ($50,000 budget)

Adam Scott $9,700

Sergio Garcia $9,200

Justin Rose $9,000

Graeme McDowell $8,900

Michael Thompson $6,700

Fredrik Jacobson $6,500

Remaining salary: $0.00

Northern Trust results

Dustin Johnson $10,500 (103.5 points)

Webb Simpson $10,100 (56)

Bill Haas $9,500 (74.5)

Jim Furyk $8,700 (70.5)

J.B. Holmes $6,700 (55.5)

Joost Luiten $4,400 (22)

Total Fantasy Points: 382.0

Last week was a big disappointment. My two value plays bombed out and Simpson was a massive bust. D.J. did his job while Haas and Furyk were decent. Unfortunately, the rest of the squad didn't show up. This week should be a big improvement with less risky options on the back end in Thompson and Jacobson.
