Comments: NASCAR Picks for Kentucky

After a wild card race at Infineon Raceway last weekend, a trip to a 1.5-mile track would normally be a welcomed change for fantasy owners. However, Saturday night's Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway isn't a typical race at a cookie-cutter track. The Cup Series will be visiting Kentucky for just the second time in the track's history, meaning both drivers and fantasy owners don't have a lot of information to go on.

Fittingly, Cup teams and fantasy owners both have to take a similar approach. Crew chiefs will be looking at setups used at the track in 2011, as well as setups used at other 1.5-mile tracks. For fantasy owners, last year's results are worth taking into account, but results from tracks with similar layouts can be even more useful. Not to mention that taking advantage of drivers that have been running well of late is never a bad strategy either.
