Richardson was one of the Buffs' lone playmakers in 2013. Blessed with tremendous speed and athleticism, Richardson can challenge defenses vertically, but will need to add more bulk and strength to his slight frame.
Thin and struggled with durability. Missed the entire 2012 season with a torn ACL. Recovered very well and has absolutely put himself back on the map after an excellent '13 campaign. Very fast. Ran a 4.40 40-yard dash at the combine and looked very smooth during the drills. Above-average hands and can secure the ball away from his body. Tracks the ball well on deep routes and can watch the ball into his hands over both shoulders. Strength is a concern and can be hand-checked off his route. Hears footsteps over the middle. May still have worries about re-injuring himself seriously.
Enough burst and explosion to separate from defenders. Average with the ball in his hands and will typically look to evade rather than challenge for more yards. Good lower half body control. Good leaper. Not a No. 1 receiver.
