2014 NFL Mock Draft

Round 1 of 1 Rounds

1. CLE: Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M*
The Browns need help everywhere and while getting a franchise QB should be their top priority, its Garrett that is considered the top player in this year's draft.
2. SF: Solomon Thomas, DE, Stanford*
Thomas stock has been rising after his bowl performance and he would help upgrade the San Francisco DL.
3. CHI: Jonathan Allen, DE, Alabama
Somehow John Fox retained his head coaching job, Jay Cutler is gone for Mike Glennon, so now expect the defensive minded Fox take the best defensive player available on draft day.
4. JAX: Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU*
Fournette is a freakish RB talent that most analysts think has the most exciting combination of size, speed, and power in this year's RB draft class.
5. TEN: Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State*
The Titans need to address their need for a CB and Lattimore is considered to be the top CB in this draft.
6. NYJ: Mitch Trubisky, QB, North Carolina*
The Jets were a mess at quarterback last season with options like Ryan Fitzpatrick, Geno Smith, Bryce Petty and Christian Hackenberg all showing they are not a franchise QB, thus adding a QB has to be the Jets top pick.
7. LAC: Malik Hooker, S, Ohio State*
Hooker would really help upgrade the Chargers defensive secondary.
8. CAR: Jamal Adams, S, LSU*
The Panthers have a huge need at the safety position and Adams would fit their defensive secondary needs.
9. CIN: Derek Barnett, DE, Tennessee*
The Bengals have a need on their DL and sack specialist Barnett would give them an immediate upgrade at that position.
10. BUF: O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama
The Bills appear to have decided to go with Tyrod Taylor at QB, so if they are not taking a QB they need to get Taylor some weapons. OJ Howard would definitely help the Buffalo offense this coming season.
11. NO: Haason Reddick, LB, Temple
Defense Defense and more Defense help! The Saints could address their LB needs, speed rusher needs, or some help for their secondary, but either way they need to take the best defensive player on the board. Reddick's stock has been rising up the board and he would fill a need at LB on the Saints defense.
12. CLE: Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson*
The Browns will address their QB need with their second of two picks in round one this year. Watson has dual-threat potential as a passer and a runner but has to cut down on his interceptions to be a top QB.
13. ARI: Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio State*
It's possible Arizona will take their QB of the future should one of the top QBs fall to them, but if they don't then the Cardinals need to take the best player available to fill an area of need.
14. PHI: Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford*
The Eagles need to get their young QB Carson Wentz some weapons and McCaffrey would give them a receiving threat out of the backfield.
15. IND: Ryan Ramczyk, OL, Wisconsin*
The Colts need OL and DL help, and at some point, they need to address their need for a young RB. However, protecting QB Andrew Luck has to be their main objective in this draft.
16. BAL: Mike Williams, WR, Clemson*
The Ravens offense needs play makers to help QB Joe Flacco and Williams is considered the top WR in this year's draft class.
