17. ATL: Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, Oklahoma State*
I love the way Ogbah fits in Dan Quinn's defense. The Falcons need a ton of help from a talent standpoint on defense and I expect that to their main point of focus this draft and maybe even next year's as well.
18. IND: Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor*
I'm going out on a limb here hoping GM Ryan Grigson and owner Jim Irsay won't totally mess this up. Billings is the perfect fit for a team that desperately needs help on the interior line. With those two fools running the show they'll probably draft a running back or speed receiver her though.
19. BUF: Robert Nkemdiche, DT, Ole Miss*
No pick in this draft makes more sense than this one. Rex Ryan has no problem taking on a player with issues and Nkemdiche is a potential top-five pick if not for a few red flags.
20. NYJ: Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State
Despite trading for Ryan Clady, the Jets could still use another young OT they can build around for the future. Decker is the best available.
21. WAS: Reggie Ragland, ILB, Alabama
Ragland is widely considered the top ILB on the board and rightfully so. The Redskins need help at the position and Ragland is by far the best in this drat.
22. HOU: Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson*
The Texans have a few holes they can fill. I expect them to either go DB or DL here. Alexander is very talented and would fit in nicely on the outside in Houston. With Billings gone, Alexander is too good to pass up.
23. MIN: Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor*
The Vikings need to do something about their atrocious passing game. Yes the offensive line was a mess last season, but there are other issues. One being that they need more weapons. Coleman is the obvious choice here.
24. CIN: Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville
Domato Peko is beginning to decline and the Bengals need to plug in another DT next to Geno Atkins to lead them into the future. Many have him ranked as the top DT in the draft. I do not, but he's not far off either.
25. PIT: Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State*
Apple could just as easily go up in the mid-teens. The Steelers may need a CB more than any team in the league. They are a piece or two away from being a legitimate contender for a title. Apple can come in and start right away. It's not often the Steelers don't draft a LB Rd. 1.
26. SEA: Jason Spriggs, OT, Indiana
The Seahawks OL has gone from a strength to a glaring weakness over the past year. They must strengthen their line and Spriggs is the best OL available.
27. GB: A'Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama*
With Reggie Ragland gone and B.J. Raji retiring, it leaves the Packers with limited options. They almost have to go with a big DT here.
28. KC: Kevin Dodd, DE, Clemson*
The Chiefs pass-rushing crew is dealing with injuries and aging. They could really use some help on the front line to bolster the pass-rush. Dodd is the best DE left on the board and many have him going much higher than this.
29. ARI: Jarran Reed, DT, Alabama
Outside of Calais Campbell, the Cardinals defensive line really isn't all that great. Reed is an immediate impact player and can plugged right in and improve an already very good defense.
30. CAR: Kendall Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech*
If not for injury, Fuller may be drafted much higher than this. When you go 15-1 and make it to the Super Bowl, you only have so many holes to fill. Their two glaring weaknesses last season were WR and CB2. Well they get Kelvin Benjamin back from an ACL injury and Fuller should really help their CB depth and may compete for a starting job immediately.
31. DEN: Vernon Butler, DL, Louisiana Tech
Butler is going a but overlooked in this year's draft. Regardless, I believe his skill and versatility is enough to help him sneak into the bottom of the first round.
