Drew Radovich Scouting Report

2008 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
Drew Radovich, OL, USC
Radovich is a very consistent blocker. He started for two seasons at left guard for the Trojans of Southern California. Radovich earned honorable mention All Pac-10. Radovich does a good job at getting to the second level when blocking. He does struggle against quick hitting defensive tackles, but does very well when chipping and making it to block a linebacker. Radovich had 88 "knock-down" blocks while at Southern Cal and he was an excellent pass blocker, surrendering only 4.5 sacks on 460 pass plays. He shows good footwork and uses his hands well to keep defenders away from his body. Radovich grades out as a third to fourth round prospect and he will likely go to a team looking to add depth on the offensive line and could contribute very early in his career on special teams ( also could develop into an every down player after a few years in the league). Radovich played very well at Senior Bowl practice against very high level competition. Radovich has not received as much press as linemates Sam Baker or Chilo Rachal, but will develop into a contributor for whichever team that drafts him.
