Bryan Anderson, WR, Central Michigan

It only took Bryan Anderson three years to become Central Michigan's all-time leader in receptions and touchdown receptions. In order to reach that landmark so quickly, Anderson did not have any time to waste. As a redshirt freshman in 2006, he led the team with 73 receptions for 867 yards. The following season he was one of two 1,000 yard receivers on the Chippewas and caught 90 passes for 1,132 yards and ten touchdowns. It was during that 2007 campaign when the CMU offense peaked, but Anderson was obviously still a very productive player in 2008 and 2009. As a junior he caught 63 passes for 865 yards and six touchdowns. Fellow receiver Antonio Brown was getting more catches, but Anderson was still the big play receiver. The story is the same in 2009. Anderson only has 47 catches through 11 games, but he is averaging 13.0 yards per catch. What makes Anderson a special receiver is his combination of size and speed. He is 6-5 and can outrun a whole lot of other receivers in this class who are smaller than him. He may have a few things to work on, but Anderson should be a second or third round selection if he has decent workouts leading up to the draft. 1/24 Update: Most pundits are still overlooking Anderson, seeing him as a byproduct of quarterback Dan LeFevour. Leading up to the draft Anderson will have to make a name for himself. If he does, he could be a second round selection. If not, he could slip very far and may not even be drafted. The reality of Anderson's skills is somewhere in the middle of those two extremes and he should be considered a fourth round talent when all is said and done.

Prediction: 7th Round

Lefevour's big play option, Anderson has the sizescouts like and could shine in camp and secure a roster spot.
