2012 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:

Stephen Good, OG, Oklahoma

Stephen Good is a borderline talent who will be fortunate to be selected in the 2012 NFL Draft. Realistically, he will likely be signed as an undrafted free agent. One of Good's best attributes is his ability to play multiple positions. He is a student of the game in that sense. Once a highly rated high school prospect, Good hasn't lived up to lofty expectations.

In general, he lacks the athleticism and strength necessary for the position. Given his height, he needs to play with a better pad level and not allow defenders to get underneath him. As a run blocker, he shows a good first step and gets his hands on defenders quickly.

Expectations were high entering the Sooners' 2011 season, but Good was unable to maintain what started off as decent draft value. Good is now sliding down draft boards and will need to show something at the combine. His technique isn't bad and with some coaching, he could contribute as a rotational player. He'll have to hope he catches someone's eye at the Oklahoma pro day.
