2012 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:

Coryell Judie, CB, Texas A&M

Coryell Judie's physical style of play may lack some polish, but that can come with next-level coaching. This Aggie prospect excels at read-react plays when in off-man or zone coverages. Judie is an above-average athlete, with good body control and can reliably close ground to make plays on the ball. The key for him is that he moves fluidly and doesn't lose much speed when changing directions.

Judie's man coverage skills are still under development. He'll need to work on staying at home with his hips when backpedaling and not getting so chippy outside of five yards. His footwork can get sloppy when making breaks and he will need to learn how to plant and move more often.

Despite his size, he's more than willing to make tackles. Judie quickly closes on screens and passes in the flat with a downhill trajectory. With that in mind, he may end up becoming a nickel corner in a zone-heavy defense and he could push for a starting spot early in his career.

Judie has the long-term potential to become a starter later in his career, but for the short term, he's a development pick who can contribute in some nickel packages next season.
