2014 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:

C.J. Fiedorowicz, TE, Iowa

Fiedorowicz will make for a great potential red zone target thanks to his size and length. He doesn't offer much upside athletically; however, he has enough of a two-way game as both a blocker and pass-catcher to likely find a home in the first few rounds.

Really big hands and showed excellent strength at the combine. Average speed considering his weight and height. Really competitive blocker and shows flashes of having the strength to take his man off the line. Good, but not great hands. Boxes out reasonably well. Doesn't offer much of anything after the catch outside of a little power and tenacity. Can work the seam, but he isn't going to outrun any defensive backs or almost all linebackers.

Sets the edge quickly as a blocker. Needs to sink in his hips more consistently. Tends to rely too much on his upper body strength rather than really bend and unload in his matchup. Still improving as a route runner. Slow change of direction. Really thrown off by hand-checking and redirection at the line of scrimmage. Firmly in the second tier of prospect in this draft class.

Fiedorowicz is a third to fourth round prospect in the 2014 NFL Draft.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: Lacks the athleticism necessary to really blow up as a fantasy player. Zero draft appeal in redraft, regardless of where he lands. Middle to late round flier in dynasty leagues, depending on his place on the depth chart upon arrival. Would prefer Notre Dame's Troy Niklas if I miss out on one of the Top 3 TEs (Ebron, Amaro and Seferian-Jenkins).

Prediction: 4th Round

I like this guy more than most. Late 3rd is possible, but I think mid-to-late 4th seems most realistic. I think he'll make a team very happy there. He'd fit well with KC or Seattle.
