2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:

Joseph Randle, RB, Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State running back Joseph Randle did it all for the Cowboys in his junior season, leading the Big 12 in rushing yards and could provide three-down production at the next level.

Randle is a tall, lean back with above-average explosion and short-area movement skills. Could afford to add a bit more muscle in his lower half, which would allow him to break through more tackles. Doesn't offer much after contact. Thrives on a patient, elusive style where he follow blockers and explodes to the open field.

Quick, choppy feet through the line. High cut body can open him up to big hits at times. Can contribute as a receiver out of the backfield. Reliable hands and shows good vision in pass protection. Maintains a good pad level and keeps his shoulders square to power through as best as he can in traffic. Good acceleration and possesses enough speed to break a big run on occasion. Not a burner. Durable throughout his career and had no serious injuries.

Randle projects as a third or fourth round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
