2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:

Cooper Taylor, S, Richmond

Richmond Spiders safety Cooper Taylor is a former transfer from Georgia Tech. An excellent week of practices at the East-West Shrine Game helped his draft stock. Showed surprising athleticism at his Pro Day. A bit of a tweener between OLB and safety. Doesn't seem to play at timed speeds. Could fit into a more physical nickel formation. Abruptly left the Yellow Jackets during the season. Played inferior competition in the CAA. Must continue to develop as he will likely need to compete for a backup role at best.
